Carter Helps Wreaths Across America for 4th Year

  On December 12th, volunteers all over the nation will coordinate their efforts to honor our fallen veterans. Wreaths Across America recognizes those who serve through wreath-laying ceremonies in veteran cemeteries. In 2012, Carter Express driver, Andy Riddle, brought the idea of volunteering time and trucks to help deliver the wreaths. Carter has participated in the program every year since and so has Andy. Carter Express Partners with Local Food Bank

Anderson based Carter Express held a bonus tailgate food distribution for Madison County residents on June 5 at the Nichol Avenue tailgate location in the old Kmart parking lot.

In conjunction with Second Harvest, this extra tailgate was made possible by the money raised by Carter’s fund drive and covered the cost of sponsorship for the tailgate. Continue reading

This organization coordinates wreath laying ceremonies in Arlington Cemetery as well as veterans’ cemeteries and other locations across the United States, in 4 other countries, and on 2 aircraft carriers. Automotive Global Logistics Conference

  The 15th annual Automotive Global Logistics conference was held in Detroit on September 16th, 17th and 18th.  The conference covered a number of interesting topics and hosted superb speakers like Miguel Marquez, the Governor of the state of Guanajuato in Mexico, who was the event’s keynote speaker.  The conference spoke of growth in the automotive sector in North America as well as an increase in supply chain complexity.
