Administrative Specialist

Job Summary

Ability to work with diverse logistics backgrounds to complete tasks such as data entry, freight bill audits, customer audits, Transportation Management System advancements; customer service skills to resolve reoccurring issues and assist in training on correct procedures, must pay great attention to detail in order to answer questions on the spot, other administrative duties as needed, ability to work the hours of 08:00-17:00 Monday through Friday and occasional weekends.

Minimum requirements

  • Associates Degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain management and working with Transportation Management System

Abilities Required

  • Work well in a fast paced environment
  • Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word proficient
  • Data entry proficient
  • Detail oriented
  • Work on multiple projects at same time and complete by deadlines given
  • Ability to focus on tasks at hand for completion quickly and efficiently
  • Auditing capabilities
  • System analysis and optimization, such as TMS configurations and process improvement
  • Report building
